The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

It’s almost like the DOJ appointed him knowing that he’s prone to pulling questionable moves. If he wins it will most likely be thrown out on appeal and if he loses so what. Either way Smith is the fall guy.
almost like they dont want to win..or just sheer boobs.

That's all it been about..Smearing Trump and keeping him off the campaign trail. It's a lose lose for them either way

I hope they keep at it.

I hope they put him in some form of pre-trial confinement.

I hope they do seize his property.

If we're going to go banana republic, I want all the stops pulled out.

You are essentially mocking the reasoning behind the gag order and nay consequences as "banana republic," but you ignore the effects of what he does as to witness intimidation. What about all the reports from witnesses or even jurors (including in other matters) that when Trump publicly goes after them, they receive threats from Trump supporters?

What is the value of Trump attacking court workers and others now, in the midst of the case? Why does he need to do that every morning? Every afternoon?

You'd have to be willfully blind or ignorant not to see what he's up to.

“Did you violate anyone’s constitutional rights while investigating Trump?” “I plead the 5th.

”Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg's former prosecutor Mark Pomerantz *PLEADS THE FIFTH* during Congressional investigation into Biden collusion with Trump political prosecutions.

You are such an incredible fraud.

First, this was a year ago, its not breaking.

Second, it was nonsense to begin with.

Mark F. Pomerantz, a former prosecutor who once helped lead an investigation of Donald J. Trump, appeared on Friday before the Republican-led House Judiciary Committee for a deposition but declined to answer many of its questions about the prosecution of the former president on charges of falsifying business records.

Mr. Pomerantz cited the confidentiality of the pending case and invoked a range of privileges, including the Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, to avoid answering the committee’s questions, according to an opening statement obtained by The New York Times. He said he had agreed to appear because he respected the rule of law.

“What I do not respect is the use of the committee’s subpoena power to compel me to participate in an act of political theater,” Mr. Pomerantz added. “We are gathered here because Donald Trump’s supporters would like to use these proceedings to attempt to obstruct and undermine the criminal case pending against him, and to harass, intimidate and discredit anyone who investigates or charges him.”

Mr. Pomerantz repeatedly cited New York law protecting the privacy of active investigations and said he had been threatened with possible prosecution for violating the secrecy of the grand jury process if he answered certain questions.

“While I am certain I broke no laws, I am not required to answer questions if my answers might be used against me in a criminal prosecution,” he said, adding: “It gives me no joy to invoke my legal rights, but I am glad that the law allows me not to cooperate with this performance of political theater.”

Seriously, this sort of manipulation and lying by the GOP and their twitter moron minions is why the institution of the Republican party is held in such low esteem by anyone with an IQ above 50.

Bragg has no legit case and Pomerantz is guilty and you know it.

Is the bold documented beyond their allegations?
What threat level did the FBI assess these threats?

I'm not gonna get every detail perfect, but once upon a 1st impeachment investigation there was this high ranking insider who allegedly listened in on Trump blackmailing a fellow world leader and had a tape or something.

When the story broke on the evening news the people conglomerated on the streets in exalted jubilation screaming "They Got Trump"

But the media and the higher intelligence agencies didn't ignore the gravitas of the Whistle Blower Act, and raced to protect the identity of the WB. Every damn news agency carried water and wrote articles about needing to insure the WB's anonymity, placing him in protective custody due to the WBAct. The social media giants (FB, Twitter, Reddit) played the part deleting accounts if anyone posted his name. Google was vigilant and removed any news site from their web dominion that shared his name.....

When it was time to put Trump away and the curtain dropped, the high level insider was an intern for some minor Democrat. He'd never been in hiding or under secret service protection, his smoking gun evidence was hearsay......

I bet Trump thought that was funny. I bet he thinks it'd be funny to make all those water carrying sycophants do another ridiculous dance routine.

I don't like Trump and I think it would be funny.

This trial SHOULD be mocked. It is the very definition of the perversion of justice. This is nothing but clear election interference. Unlike the classified documents case, where there could potentially be a violation depending upon a matter of law, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to this case whatsoever.

To bring this to court, he has resurrected an expired (and extremely weak) state misdemeanor case by trying to declare it was a predicate to a federal crime. Except the feds said that there was no campaign violation, nor was there a federal crime AND if you can believe this, the crime Bragg is trying to say Trump is guilty of is improperly influencing an election, THE VERY THING BRAGG IS DOING RIGHT NOW.

Bragg should be disbarred for this case.

One thing, the Feds never said there wasn't a crime/campaign violation, they chose not to prosecute.

Just like Biden with his classified docs...

There are reasons why the Feds chose not to prosecute Trump. It might be because there actually was no crime or it may have been because the cost didn't outweigh benefit, sketchy witnesses, cost, limited benefit, or political reasons.

Breaking News: Trump's Defense is tying Cohen to an extortion attempt on Trump.

1) Stormy's former attorney testified that they never made a deal with Trump. The deal was made with Cohen.

2) The banker testified that it was Cohen that asked him to open two accounts quickly, not Trump.

3) It was a low level accountant that listed the attorney fee under attorney fee in Trump's bank register not Trump.

The amount paid on that transaction to Cohen was $420,000 for attorney fees in which Cohen is claiming that $130,000 was for a deal made with Stormy that Trump said he knew nothing about. The check from shows that it was cashed in 2017.

So far in the Trump hush maney trial, it was Cohen who did all of the actions they're accusing Trump of doing.

Here's the gangster lying about why he won't testify. A gag order does not prevent a defendant from testifying. His lawyer is in
the background nodding as if to say: "Whatever, dude."
