the larger issue is SHOULD you perform an armed raid where you include use of deadly force authority against a political opponent over documents.

the answer is no.

no one was trying to assassinate Trump; but the raid was clearly excessive.

Joe Biden with integrity. I am speechless. I didn’t know taking showers with your daughter meant you had integrity. Pelosi turned down the national guard and you obviously did not listen to Trump’s speech on January 6th when he told everyone to be peaceful. You watch too much CNN and MSNBC. No matter how bad you want to believe it Trump is not responsible for January 6th and Joe Biden is the biggest POS to ever occupy the White House.

You make the claim you just had to raid La Don Don’s pad, there was no other choice, he forced your hand?

Ok.

Why on earth would you default to standard SOP? What about raiding the residence of a former President, surrounded by Secret Service, is…. Standard?

What if they had been there? What if it led to an engagement between FBI agents & Secret Service?

No FBI agent or SS agent would work if they could not work under both agencies rules of use of force. Its quite literally for their protection. Maybe if trump had sent the shat when asked we could have avoided this. I also fully suspect the FBI did its raid knowing full well Trump was not arround. Also, we have no clue if the higher ups at the FBi and SS talked.
