I would be just as sick if this was happening to Biden in a state like Mississippi. This is not a proud day for America. Your joy shows how far left partisan you are. Pandora’s box has been opened. The long term effects this will have on unity may last our entire lifetime.

Trump found guilty on 34 felony counts. Does anyone think that he won’t appeal?

Sentencing July 11? I believe I heard that on a news report. Next up (it’s New York), Trump’s interview with an assigned parole officer who will make a sentencing recommendation to the court. Possibilities include incarceration (unlikely?), parole, and/or fines.

It’s New York. It’s not Federal. State rules apply. How Trump is sentenced will impact his disposition while he appeals.

IYO I can't prove when the fact is simple--- I don't need to prove it to you. Creditability is not established on a thread or forum. Look around why don't you disprove it? Help or solutions gain support of half of the audience and the other half are just laying in wait. You cannot govern this country solely from the right or the left. This country to calm the masses will have to be governed from the middle. This means some will have to compromise from both parties. Furthermore, since you are so political savvy tell me what Congress has accomplished since 2005 if you are old enough to remember.

Of course a person has not made an argument for declassifying documents (including Trump) because either they do not know the process or what it involves in doing so. You think it is a simple process and it is not. We don't even know what the classified document folders contained, if anything. So until we know it is a moot point. Furthermore, Declassification of a Document may take a Top Secret Level Document and declassify it to a Secret Level Document or Confidential Status or to a For Eyes Only Level. But I don't know of one case where it has gone from TS to unclassified, unless it free and clear of a damage assessment or confirmation or compromised validation. The public still will not have access to these documents and based on disposition these documents will normally be destroyed.

I know this answer will not be good enough for you, but I not wasting my time proving to you on a msg board what I know to be true. It's not that I can't prove it but it is that I don't need to prove it to you. You can google it, I am not sure what you will find, and really doesn't matter to me. I haven't done any searches because I didn't need to do so.

Well, this discussion has abandoned the details and jumped into the political bombast. My posts are misplaced. I was looking for a discussion of the immediate legalities and expected actions.

The politics seem obvious. I’m more interested in the legal details and steps.
