Spot on there. If a witness so much as starts doing that or interpreting the law the judge smacks them down fast and hard. I’ve seen it live. It’s actually pretty funny and kind of awesome to see.Experts cannot come in and testify as to the ultimate issue of guilt or innocence. This is well established in the law. The jury decides whether the law was broken, not experts. Otherwise, you'd just have trials of experts giving their own opinions on the guilt or innocence of the defendant.
