Ran the deficit sky high.It really shows your ignorance. You can't provide one example of what he did that was so bad in office. You're just a butthurt child over his mean tweets. Making that ignorant statement, with the current clown in office now, is why people like shouldn't be allowed to vote.
I’ll do this even though @McDad called me “mature.”Well, this discussion has abandoned the details and jumped into the political bombast. My posts are misplaced. I was looking for a discussion of the immediate legalities and expected actions.
The politics seem obvious. I’m more interested in the legal details and steps.
If the shoes fits, nerd.I’ll do this even though @McDad called me “mature.”
I’m not 100% sure about New York but I assume this is pretty standard:
He’ll have a sentencing. Somebody said July 11. Judgment is generally entered then. I would say it would be a miscarriage of Justice for him to receive jail time. His attitude and tweets may make that slightly more likely but it’s a non-violent first offense and relatively minor crime. I’d consider giving him diversion if I were the judge (and people here will tell you I thought he was a ****ing revolting human and possibly the worst president in history.
After the judgment is entered, his team has a set period of time (30 days in Tennessee) to file a motion for new trial. This is an important formality as failure to raise an issue in the motion usually results in severe disadvantage on appeal.
There will be a hearing on that motion. They are almost always denied.
Then he will appeal. Once he files a motion for new trial or the NY equivalent I’ll be interested to see what errors they ascribe to the judge.
I would expect something along the lines of one year house arrest and a fine.I’ll do this even though @McDad called me “mature.”
