The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

Because Republicans have no backbone. They will talk and write sternly worded letters all day long. But when it comes time to actually take some action, they become blobs of jelly. I will say one thing for the Democrats…..they are not afraid to exercise power.
I view it as a lack of proof.

No, he was right. The Republicans have no spine. Ya'll win in that regard, absolutely. You march lockstep with the party.

Have you ever wondered why there is no recording of Hillary's meltdown on the night Trump beat her?

It is not so much that the GOP doesnt have a spine, but that the GOP leadership is largely Uni-Party types. They have a spine when it comes to screwing over their base/voters.

Also, it would do no good to prosecute Biden in Federal friendly jurisdictions, which would be most if not all of them.

So you were against the Trump impeachments?
I didn’t really keep up with all the evidence presented, however I thought they were a monumental waste of time and money because there was zero chance of getting enough people to cross the aisle for a conviction. It was a stupid soap opera.

If I don’t think there’s reasonable chance that I can win a case I won’t waste my time bringing it.

So in your mind more partisanship and tribal voting is needed. In my mind you are the problem.

Each side should have some core values that they are willing to fight for... however, both parties act like everything is a core value and the right side to be on is the opposite of whatever the other side is arguing for. Even more problematic is that our current group of leaders often seem to reverse their positions and each party then switches without missing a beat.

It is like watching an old looney toon cartoon when Bugs was fooling Daffy. It is pitiful. We need an adult in the white house to bring everyone to the table. Problem is we have the world's oldest child and a depends wearing dementia patient as our choices. And it's our fault for falling for this garbage.

I am thinking in particular of Trump's many screeches over the years about mail in ballots, about how the GOP has condemned them as rife with fraud. Trump; himself expressly called for an end to using them a scant four months ago.....

But today, he urges people to vote for him, including by mail in ballot.

Absolutely shameless and utterly without principle of any kind.

He can't stop their use so why shouldn't he encourage his supporters to take advantage of them? I don't see anything hypocritical about that at all. Now if he was in a position to end vote by mail and still encouraged their use you would have a point.
