There's nothing like the look on someone's face the first time they step on the grounds and then the first time they see all those azaleas at Amen Corner. It's one of the few places you'll ever see that is more impressive than you expect.
Prob be the first golf tourney broadcast in 3D. I'm dropping the cash for one when that happens, and even wearing those silly glasses.

It's unbelieveable...Today's practice round was awesome, I can't belive what a tournament round especially Sunday would be like
Glad you're having a good trip. How did u procure tickets?
Where did you guys hang out most of the day? After going last year, I knew where I wanted to set up our chairs, so as soon as they opened the gates, we hoofed it down to 16 to get a spot on the front row. We walked most of the course as the day went by, but we probably spent 75% of the day at 16. That's where the most fun is to be had on practice round days IMO.

a co worker, sigend up for the lottery, and got 4 tickets for Tuesday..My ex-neighbor then traded us 2 of the tickets for Tuesday for 2 today.
My coworkers father-in-law couldn't go, so he asked me, and I couldn't say yes quick enough...
I also can't Thank my ex-neighbor in Chicago enough for the hook-up he's provided...
He's let us use his house outside of Augusta , and is sponsoring us at the Double Eagle Club (basically a corporate hosting site, with food, drinks, etc during the Masters) for the two days were here...
I'll be signing, myself, wife and kids up for the lottery going forward..
This place is awesome
It's a different ballgame once the tournament starts; especially on the weekend when the field shrinks. It's next to impossible to follow a group. You have to find a spot and set up shop for an hour or two and then either leave chairs or roll the dice and try and find another vantage point.
We walked the front 9, with Bjorn's group, then the back 9 with Poulter's and Rose's...
Then went back to 16 and watched Tiger, Dustin, and the 14 year old go through....
You picked a good spot, while we were at 16, it was alot of fun...Saw Huh go through with KJ and make a hole in one...but I also wanted to make sure I walked the whole course..Couldn't belive the elevation changes
Yeah I haven't had luck w the lottery unfortunately.
Yea, I wouldn't be here without that...David (co worker) got the Lottery tickets ofr $50 bucks each, then when we swapped out with Chuck, (ex-neighbor) he said they were worth between $600 and $700 a ticket
So if you get the lottery, even you don't go you can make a nice little profit
