The Masters Tournament

Prob be the first golf tourney broadcast in 3D. I'm dropping the cash for one when that happens, and even wearing those silly glasses.

I think they already have did it in 3D. Of course I could be wrong but seems like they have.

There's nothing like the look on someone's face the first time they step on the grounds and then the first time they see all those azaleas at Amen Corner. It's one of the few places you'll ever see that is more impressive than you expect.

Indeed. You can't over sale this one. Impossible to not be mesmerized by that place, especially on your first trip.

You better hurry up order a new TV so you can have it by Thursday. I don't know if its been broadcast in 3D before, but I saw several 3D cameras set up in the towers today.

I would concur...I actually reached down, by the practice range when we first went and touched the grass..

It's so green and perfect, it's hard to believe it's real...

Spent all day there today, and can't wait to go back tomorrow...

Glad you're having a good trip. How did u procure tickets?

Leaving Wednesday after work and headed down for Thursday's round. I will get to mark this off my bucket list. Can't wait.

It's unbelieveable...Today's practice round was awesome, I can't belive what a tournament round especially Sunday would be like

Where did you guys hang out most of the day? After going last year, I knew where I wanted to set up our chairs, so as soon as they opened the gates, we hoofed it down to 16 to get a spot on the front row. We walked most of the course as the day went by, but we probably spent 75% of the day at 16. That's where the most fun is to be had on practice round days IMO.

a co worker, sigend up for the lottery, and got 4 tickets for Tuesday..My ex-neighbor then traded us 2 of the tickets for Tuesday for 2 today.
My coworkers father-in-law couldn't go, so he asked me, and I couldn't say yes quick enough...

I also can't Thank my ex-neighbor in Chicago enough for the hook-up he's provided...

He's let us use his house outside of Augusta , and is sponsoring us at the Double Eagle Club (basically a corporate hosting site, with food, drinks, etc during the Masters) for the two days were here...

I'll be signing, myself, wife and kids up for the lottery going forward..

This place is awesome

We walked the front 9, with Bjorn's group, then the back 9 with Poulter's and Rose's...

Then went back to 16 and watched Tiger, Dustin, and the 14 year old go through....

You picked a good spot, while we were at 16, it was alot of fun...Saw Huh go through with KJ and make a hole in one...but I also wanted to make sure I walked the whole course..Couldn't belive the elevation changes

It's a different ballgame once the tournament starts; especially on the weekend when the field shrinks. It's next to impossible to follow a group. You have to find a spot and set up shop for an hour or two and then either leave chairs or roll the dice and try and find another vantage point.

I could see that, I'd have to pick somewhere aroun 12/13, or 15, and 16

You definitely don't realize the change in elevation from Amen Corner back up to the clubhouse until you walk it. 10 and 18 are nuts.

Yea, I wouldn't be here without that...David (co worker) got the Lottery tickets ofr $50 bucks each, then when we swapped out with Chuck, (ex-neighbor) he said they were worth between $600 and $700 a ticket

So if you get the lottery, even you don't go you can make a nice little profit

I thought 8, was severe as well, and 1 with that big swell after you tee off, and then back up to the green

Read an article that this year tickets are most expensive since the first year tiger won.

Final four being in Atlanta is the reason supposedly.

I believe it, Chuck was over there Friday, his company was running the college slam dunk, so he was trying to get tickets to both the Championship game, and the Masters

If you can, get there early tomorrow and set chairs up at 16. As long a your name is in them, you'll be able to come and go as you please and no one will take your seats.

Did you see the guy nail the turtle with his skipped shot a couple of groups before Tiger? People had been coming close all day, and with a group of 4-6 turtles right on that front bank, it was going to happen sooner or later.
