never have. should I?
man I love Harbor Town and that's a good tourney, but that's just crazy talk.
slightly redeeming, but Augusta National is AN.It's not crazy talk when you have access to a condo inside Sea Pines and know somebody with a boat docked in Harbor Town. Augusta National is a pure spectacle, but I can't walk off the 18th of Augusta and be sitting on a boat sipping a beverage on a boat in 60 seconds like I can at the Heritage.
Sans hangover, I'll head out there Sat morn.If you have some extra time, you ought to head down there for a few minutes. It's nothing but a big, ratty looking wharehouse and it's hit or miss in there depending on what they happen to have in stock, but they have just about everything in there and some of the deals can be pretty good. It's right off I-20 where the Bobby Jones Expressway starts.
I played Harbor Town for the first time last fall. They had the pin set way left where only an idiot would fire at it . . . so I aimed for it and hit what looked like a great draw right at the flag and the ball got out about 100 yards and reacted like a ping pong ball flying at a giant fan. There was no wind on the tee, but at the green it was going sideways about 25 mph. The 18th was dead into the wind and was effectively unplayable.slightly redeeming, but Augusta National is AN.
Actually, Harbor Town is one of my favorite places to play. Love the tiny greens, especially 17 in the breeze off the sound.
It's an unimpressive looking white building on the frontage Rd.Sans hangover, I'll head out there Sat morn.
he didn't hit it great, but he putted lights out.
everyone else's problem that Tiger probably just played his worst possible round and is only down 4.tiger wasn't too great either, although it seems imminent he's going to just play better as the week progresses. Rose needs a 3 under day or better just to put pressure on anyone.
