According to them all these redshirts are blue chip can't miss studs. Just like every program there will be several who never contribute anything.

This^

I saw a thread recently where they were griping about the tabs at the top of the Tennesseean. Apparently in order from left to right the tabs go Titans Grizz Vols Dores and they are pissed because "they should be before Tennessee because they are obviously the football school of the state".

I also saw a thread before the Vandy game where they were saying "it's hard to keep calling Tennessee a rival because it's obvious they aren't on the same level as Vanderbilt when it comes to football"

ZERO sympathy for our baby brothers.

When that reality train hits them, I will laugh my ass off and create an account over there just to relish in it, but they will quickly ban it.

The Vols fan I work with thinks they will win at least 7 games this season. He also thinks Vandy will have a losing season and lose the next 30 games to UT! I hear this stuff every day. I told him good luck starting 10 to 12 Freshman in the SEC.

To immyaxl I say - Good luck in finding 10-12 freshmen that are willing to play at vandy.

thats funny. will we even start 12 freshman? seems like he was reaching. we may play that many but were not going to start a dozen freshman and even if we do we got elite talent in this class. if we did start alot of them we would be similiar to Ole Miss this past season.

Vandy fans have some strange fascination with redshirting. Apparently a redshirt year automatically boosts a kid's talent level by 2*s. That's why their crater of a recruiting class is no big deal!

Other than the coaching and recruiting meltdown, there are some other diamonds out there:

The next person who calls our students "nerds" is gonna have to deal with all 6'4" 16 stone of me at the homecoming game this autumn. I'm really getting sick of this crap.

UMass Win (2-1) See, I told you it was a stumbling block. We're the dominate team in Tennessee
USCe Loss (2-2) Well, we can still go 10-2
@Kentucky Loss (2-3) Mason might not be working out
@ UGA Loss (2-4) They got lucky. If we had Matthews and Carter-Samuels, this wouldn't have happened
Charleston Southern Win (3-4) Still can maybe make the Citrus Bowl
@ Mizzou Loss (3-5) Mason sucks, I want Franklin back
Old Dominion Win (4-5) I take it back, Mason is okay
Florida Loss (4-6) We can still make a bowl! Have faith

Vandy just got smashed on ESPNU NSD show. They said "UT is ascending while Vanderbilt is Descending" they will get awful PR come NSD on this show. Only school in SEC not in ESPN top 40 will get them destroyed by the analyst.

Although I agree, I was pointing out schools in TN that are ahead of Vandy. Can you see now why I included UT, without any hesitation?
