The meltdown that is happening on the Vandy message boards

I can't stand Vandy

I had to put a couple of fans from my former job in their place
we would all be dead or in diapers by the time that they evened the series if they won every single year until they tied the series

I've always been one who hates using what happened years ago as an argument, makes us seem like ND. I love that Tennessee has history and tradition but these past few years Vandy has had our number. I do think this year we start another 20+ year winning streak against them. In closing Vuck Fandy!

Yeah but there's also just difference in programs and expectations, and with that comes attitudes and knowing how to win.

For example, Florida has beaten us 9 years in a row, I highly doubt if we beat them the next 2 years you'll hear a lot of Tennessee fans going "2 in a row!" We were owned 9 previous years before that, and I feel as a program that knows how to win, we as a fanbase would probably know that we need a pretty substantial win streak to start talking trash to Florida.

Ride 20 minutes? Heck most of them won't even walk 5 minutes to fill up their own stadium. And they claim to own the state, when they don't even own the city their school is in.

In 2009 they had the mid-state classic basketball "tournament" at Bridgestone; UT vs MTSU and Vandy vs WKU, back to back. I'm an alum of both UT and WKU so I watched both games. Vandy couldn't muster more than 300 fans to travel 3 miles down Broadway while WKU brought 5000+ from 60 miles. It was pathetic.

Vandy played #1 florida yesterday @ memorial gym. Then today, they played an advertisment on the radio for the game that said tickets still available. #cantmakeitup

Yep. I was at the game too. Western's fans destroyed Vandy's, and it didn't help most UT fans were rooting for WKU too.

I was also at the SEC/Big East Challenge in 2008 when UT played Marquette and Vandy opened with South Florida. There were more UT fans who showed up early at the VU/USF game than actual Vandy fans there and there were like 50 USF fans maybe, so Bridgestone was almost empty most of the VU game.

Just spent the past week at Vandy hospital (wife had a transplant) and it was big news - Brandenburg stating that the truth will come out and he will be cleared of charges. Total BS when the DA has film of what happened.

Wow.

Also, what kind transplant did your wife have?

My dad had a heart transplant there in 2003.

It's why I have to completely separate the medical center from the athletics program. I have great fondness for one, and pure hatred for the other.

wonder how mad they were about Jimmy Frank using a Penn State 18 wheeler to move all his stuff out of town. literally rolled through Nashville in an 18 wheeler with Penn State logos on the sides haha talk about salt in the wound.

Going on Vandymania is like walking into an opium den.

It's pretty amazing. I've yet to find one over there I would consider level-headed. Of course that's not completely fair because they tend to turn on anyone who isn't 100% Vandy d-bag.

Check out the Pete Fox guy, who does weekly picks for the site. Every time he picks against Vandy they want to run him off the site, so much that he almost quit doing them this past season.

Since Franklin left and Clay Travis has apparently started talking more positively about UT...they now seem to HATE Clay lol.
