I love the idiot over there that thinks we're going 3-9 this season.
Vandy would likely go 2-10 with our schedule.
We have 1 "gimme" win, while they have 4.
Those losers are giddy over the fact that they have a good chance of making another toilet bowl by beating up on the worst FBS teams, while they're mocking us for potentially having a losing record while playing the 3rd hardest schedule in the country.
It's definitely possible. Ole Miss is good and Mississippi State might be one of the weaker West teams but they're poised to be pretty strong this year.
If UK can beat them, and we beat them like we should they'll go 4-8.

Are they even eligible to play in a bowl with that many non-D1 teams on their schedule?? Or something like they have to win so many games more than 6 for every non-D1 team on their schedule -1?? Not really sure here but have a feeling there is some kind of penalty when it comes to bowl games when playing more than 1 non-D1 team.

It certainly looked like it was taken into account this year. Even though they had a good record, they still were in a minor bowl playing a C-USA team.
I'd say the bowl selection committee looks at a lot of things, strength of schedule is probably in there somewhere. Along with the ability to pull a crowd.
Both of which suck in their regard.
Ok so ur thinking it's more a bowl selection committee factor. Ok. Yeah for some reason I was thinking it was more of ncaa rule to discourage teams from going to crazy. Cause to me any bowl game for Vandy is a prize. But for a major program it wouldn't, so to help prevent it with them.

If Vandy only goes 6-6 and there are a lot of bowl eligible teams, there's a chance they could get shut out of a bowl.
Happened to MTSU when they went 8-4 in 2012. And MTSU probably has as many fans as Vandy.
With the players that Vandy has lost and the total destruction of their recruiting with the new coach,i think 4-8 is more likely with a worse record in 2015.
I'll be honest. If UK continues recruiting like they did this year, they could end up being a far cry from the UK of old.
The last two Mildcat football coaches(Bear Bryant and Fran Curci) who were great recruiters ended up getting UK on NCAA probation. I have a feeling that it'll happen again sooner rather than later.
I wouldn't say the recruiting was great. But way better than years past.
Stoops has the disadvantage of having to recruit against Louisville in Kentucky. He'll have to lock down his home state like Butch has done and go from there.
IMOHO. If your good at basketball you try to go to Kentucky, if your good at football you try to go somewhere else.---GBO---
Vandymania Poster said:I feel like the transition to the 3-4 will be a painful transition. I like the O Line. We were last in the league in Rushing and lost our secondary and Top two WRs. We are thin at WR and the offense could very well be shaky. I also believe MSU and Ole Miss will be very good teams. State returns about 17 starters. i think we get 6-7 wins or so but i think this year will be a bit of a step back. Hate to say that.
