This, I'm not saying this about our chances vs. them. I am talking about how bad they are playing against Miami(OH).

I know you can't read too much into one game, especially since we haven't even played yet.

BUT....Normally Florida destroys their first cupcake opponent on opening day, especially at home. They are being thoroughly outplayed today, by a team that should have been out of the game long ago. And if not for a pick-6, and Miami, OH's inability to get the ball in the end zone, we would have the making of an upset.

Now, I know we cannot use this game to guarantee ourselves a win in 2 weeks, but I am getting MUCH more hopeful that it is definitely possible. Brantley and Pouncey are clearly not on the same page, and they are at HOME. Let them come into Neyland with over 100,000 screaming fans, and see how well they can handle it.

Maybe they will get the kinks worked out...but maybe not. I hope everyone who will be there, will scream at the top of their lungs, and that we can get into Brantley's head early on...and who knows what might happen?

I know this....Florida better have more than 26 total yards mid-way through the 4th quarter, and not fumble the ball so often, or we just might get the win.

Watching the game and take that pick 6 and Demps' long run, he just did...they would be closer! I thought it would be a blowout!

Agreed. Normally, I always wish that we played them later in the season. But I would LOVE to have them on opening day this time. Granted, we haven't played yet. But CAN we look THIS bad? Miami should have been out of this game in the 2nd quarter.

Their Defense is very unimpressive without Charlie Strong. Their ST looks to have a lot of problems as well without even counting the offensive problems (not just botched snaps). Florida looks like they have a lot of problems to address.

Seeing the gators struggling right now is a sight for sore eyes, they ain't s*** with out teblow!! I'm feeling more confident about our match up with them. GO BIG ORANGE!!!!
