There are numerous examples of Trump crying "fake news" over reports which were later validated.

Just 2 examples off the top of my head :

* Donald Trump initially referred to reports that Stormy Daniels had been paid hush money just before the 2016 election as "fake news" ... She did, in fact, get a check.

* Donald Trump initially referred to reports that members of his 2016 campaign (including his son and son-in-law), had met with Natalia Veselnitskaya and other Russian officials at Trump Tower on June 9, 2016 to discuss dirt on Hillary Clinton as "fake news" ... this was later confirmed to be true through Donald Trump Jr.'s e-mails to Rob Goldstone.

The media gets the facts right a lot more often than Trump does.

So like I said .. it was only one side of the story , the ones that are supposed to bring us facts and truths should never run a story that they can’t confirm correct ?

Just the Steele Dossier and the Hunter Biden laptop alone is enough to prove they will lie to get the narrative out . Not just keep their sources hidden .. lie and put out misinformation.

With your usage of the pronoun "they" you are applying blanket coverage to all non-conservative media outlets. Not everyone reported on the Steele Dossier, and outside of right-wing media, the vast majority never even mentioned Hunter Biden's laptop.

I don't hold it against The Washington Times, that Fox News has spread misinformation about the 2020 election.

Once again you lack objectivity and never speak from the center … “ they “ are the media . My whole point has been about only telling half a story “ TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP , makes you seem like you are only interested in blaming one person and allowing the others who are at fault to skate . You yourself have reacted more over a private company being bought than a government installing a way to directly control information . We all know based on your post history that if the last administration had done this , your post count would have doubled by now over this thing .

You shouldn't imply that all media outlets are the same. Especially when you are either offering praise or rendering criticism, you should specify who you're talking about.

I've said many times that this department of misinformation in Homeland security is a mistake... and depending on which actions are undertaken, could easily end up violating the 1st Amendment.

The Biden administration has more important things to worry about right now, than misinformation on the internet. I'm not sure what more there is to say than that, but that has been my take, and I've said it many times now. LOL.

I haven't blamed anyone for this really bad idea coming from the Biden administration, other than Biden, Majorkas and their advisers.

Trump is a hypocrite when it comes to being an advocate for freedom of speech, and I've pointed that out several times in this thread, but I have not said that he was to blame for this overreach by the Biden administration.

... and this is bull $hit. You can't find me ever posting the opinion that Biden "is doing a good job." I have spent very little time defending Biden. I will point out that he is not completely to blame for hyper-inflation, but that is not a defense of his policies. Anyone with a basic understanding of economics, should know that this type of inflation is several years and numerous bad policies in the making.

I made a mistake then. I openly acknowledged it. I put parameters in place to make sure I don't jump the gun that badly again. If you're going to hold on to that situation like a baby to its binky, then it's on you.
