I do not think anyone in their right mind can blame any loss over the past couple years to Wilcox though, he just like the other coaches were playing with only half a deck.

Wilcox' D had good stats ... but his play calling choked in critical situations, i.e. the Music City bowl. And he cared less for recruiting. Sal is unproven but the the pop and energy he has brought so far is undeniable.

Although unproven as a defensive coordinator, I think Sal Sunseri gives UT a better chance at winning then Justin Wilcox.
The disrespect some people show on this board would get your ass handed to you if you were to talk to grown men like that in person. In private. In public. I realize it is the only opportunity you will ever have to feel like you might win something. An argument.

It amazes me that some people can't have a decent discussion without trying to belittle someone else to try to get their point across. I am disappointed in myself for dropping down to your level.

So your problem is people see flaws with your opinion. Forums are for debate, not "this is my opinion and it's fact". As for stooping low, you're the one who's made comments that could be intimated as threats. Face to face, message board, it doesn't matter to me. I'll say what I feel. If you think you can whoop my ass, good for you, but I ain't no small fella.

If you had made the point you like Sal, most would have agreed with you. The problem is you had to include the slight to JW, on a message board mind you, not to his face. JW did good with what he had. Let the man go.

So is this YOUR opine, or is it fact. Some of us on here appreciate the fact that Wilcox was low on talent and depth, however, he put a chinese firedrill on the field. That is a reflection on him and his lack of ability to be an effective DC in the SEC, not the players. That isn't necessarily fact, it's just the way I see it. If you didn't see a chinese firedrill, then you may be in for a surprise this fall. Your perceived slight on Wilcox was Dawg's opinion also. If you take everything as fact that is stated with a period on the end instead of a question mark, how about this.....you need to grow up.

No Shyt brilliant one.........point is Wilcox looks tougher (more like a nail spitter) then Kirby Smart but I would think most on here would take Kirby Smart. Quoted poster said it takes someone that can chew "steal" steel and spit out nails in the SEC but Kirby doesn't look like he is spitting out nails and he does a pretty good job. Trying to judge a coach by the way he looks and/or acts is futile.

You should have just put up a picture of Chavis. Not much "nail spitting" occurring with him.

Chavis also shows that the greatest defenses have great talent. You have great talent on D when a recruited DL chooses to play FB due to depth.
