I have been a supporter of Martin, but I think it's time to look for a coach.

Been a supporter of CCM all along and attributed last year in a big part to losing Maymon. Just kept saying, wait until next year if everyone stays. They did - no change.

It's time............really think CCM is a GOOD man, but it's not working.........It's time

Bruce lives in Knoxville. What is the point in not calling him? cuanzo sux. i wish we had kept Bruce and stayed out of the dance for 3 yrs. Cuanzo= never liked him , never liked his style. This team looks like S going into next yr. who do we return? oh yes... nobody

I had a bad feeling after the first Xavier game. Then I had it again after UT barely beat USC Upstate at home. Then after the UTEP game I knew something wasn't right. Good teams and good coaches don't lose to teams like UTEP on a neutral court. I guess they could still make a run, but this year is setting up just like the two years prior. We are slow out of the gate and have zero quality wins. Hell, at least we beat Wichita St last year. We have no quality wins so far unless you count Xavier or Wake Forest which have decent records.

Martin has failed these kids so far this year. The asst coaching staff has too. One of two things will have to happen for Martin to keep his job. He obviously will have to win more games and get into the NCAA tourney or he'll have to make staff changes after this year is over. If he doesn't, then he'll be fired if he gets one more season.

I'm in support of giving him til the end of the season before writing him off. Obviously things don't look promising, but as of this morning we are considered in the first four out, so we can still easily make the tourney.

I agree he should get to the end of the season, I am never in favor of firing a coach in the middle of the season. I just wish his brand of basketball was more exciting, I wish they would press and run more.

How many years does Martin have left on his contract, and what's his buyout? I hope that he can turn things around, the last thing UT needs is another firing and coaching search.

I think he has 2 more years after this one, believe it was a 5 year contract. It's likely though he's either gonna receive an extension this year or be fired, hard to keep a coach around with a contract that says he's a dead man walking basically.
