Am I the only one who read "The new Brian Williams" and thought of Bison Dele?

id like to think that Williams' play in the tourney this year, sparked something inside of him, that he has now harnessed. i know nothing about hoops' Xs and Os but, it seemed to me, that he was ballin in the tourney.

He needs to be able to catch and finish strong inside. Those were his 2 biggest flaws coming into the season.

Saw him On Saturday...looked tiny compared to what he used to! But still beastlike. He's going to be great this season.

This. It's great if he can bench press 400 pounds and all, but if he's still bobbling passes and muffing point blank shots off the backboard it's not going to make much difference on the scoreboard.

Correct.

Does anyone have video of Williams missing the point blank dunk in the second half today?

He should be benched everytime he rebounds the ball and he dribbles it before he puts it back up. The first thing post players should be taught is DON'T bring the ball down to where smaller guards can take it from you. It's a TO for him everytime and rarely results in points.

He is one of the worst big men around the rim I've ever seen.

As I said many times before, he is soft. He is 6'10 and can just barely dunk the ball. He needs to develop a mean streak and quick. We need a presence in the middle and he is not it. If we do not get a some sort of a presence in the middle coming in we are in trouble next year. We went one and done too many times yesterday. He I don't think we can beat Knoxville College right now.

Very disappointing considering how well he played the last month of the season and tourney last year. He has gone back to his push over ways. It was amazing to see College of Charleston's post players ripping rebound after rebound from him.
