I have never been less interested in UT football than I currently am. I honestly don’t even get excited for game days or upset when we lose now. I’m just numb and it’s sad tbh. It would help if the future looked bright and we had a top 5-10 class coming in, but we don’t.

It’s too damn depressing in any of the football forums. Please! I beg thee regulars, take me in, comfort me and let me know again, what it’s like to partake in conversation of pride and winning ways, allow me to leave the depression, doom and gloom of football, behind!

You don’t get initiated until you get into a 5 page argument with BTO lol. That’s how we know if you’re serious about our BasketVols.

Eggzactly. Every year I become more and more jaded, and now to the point of apathy and indifference. Tennessee football no longer owns my Saturday afternoons. I watch them if it works out, but I won't cancel plans or make special arrangements to watch the slop on the field we have been subjected to over the past 11 years.

An excuse I hear people make that I hate is, well there's players that Butch recruited and signed still on the roster and they're all garbage and don't care. To me that's bull crap.....their are plenty of coaches that have come to a new program and won the previous coaches players. It's the responsibility of the head coach to get everyone to buy in and not just the guys you recruited. And from what the rumors have been recently he has only focused his guys and has alienated the upperclassmen.

Thank you sir! I played football and some baseball growing up. I couldn’t throw a basketball into the ocean if I tried. Let’s just say my offensive game was always lacking, I like to fancy myself the Dennis Rodman of pickup B-ball, defense and rebounding wins championships!!😎

Guys, I have had an extremely rough start to my football season. My Fulton Falcons are 0-5 with Maryville up next, our Vols are 1-3, my Dolphins are complete trash at 0-3 and the Atlanta Falcons are 1-2. My teams are a combined 2-13! 🤢
Basketball season can not get here fast enough!

What I love so much about the NFL is that it doesn't take long to turn teams around (usually, but there are a few exceptions with teams that are horribly ran). The Dolphins future looks bright with the amount of draft picks and cap space that they have.

For example my Bears defense was atrocious a few years ago. Our GM Ryan Pace took over in 2015 and was committed to getting our defense back to being elite. They switched to a 3-4 and it took a few years to get the right guys in there, but now we have one of, if not the best defenses in the league. He completely rebuilt the D through the draft, FA, and through a nice trade (thanks Gruden lol). The Phins have a good chance at landing a franchise QB in Tua and then drafting some nice players to surround him with, hang in there man.

If anybody follows the PGA, the nearly year long pick contest begins in The Endzone. Picks need to be in before tee time every week. It will go on hiatus for a few weeks around the holidays. It's open to everybody. No prizes other than bragging rights.

It takes about 5 minutes to make picks each week.

Nobody thought these guys were complete crap until after the GSU game. I'm not buying that excuse.

This is true. In the last ten years my Niners have went from being in the Super Bowl to having two number 2 picks (traded back to 3 the first time) and now we’re 3-0 this season

Even with Bailey sitting out, Barnes must not be too concerned about numbers since the last scholarship wasn't used. But, if in a pinch, the 2 walk-ons are probably as good (or better) than some of the scholarship players from the previous coaches.
