We’ve got to beat Memphis this year again. A lot of Memphis folks have really relished the state of our football program and rubbed it in my face (never-mind the last time we played them in football we beat them by 36 points). I’ve been countering mainly with the basketball game so I need to be able to keep doing that😂 I’m excited to go to that game

Mike Norvell (who I'd rather have than Pruitt) would put up 40+ on our swiss cheese defense. I know how you feel though, I have UK fans talking trash to me, even though we beat them last year in arguably their best year in football probably ever.

KY might have won the natty around 1950. 1984 was a highly ranked team as well (the last win over TN until the backup QB game that Dooley lost in 2011).

Oh yeah, I’m honestly really glad we didn’t schedule Memphis this year, they’d of beat us bad. And I’d love to hire Norvell, cause he’s a good coach and it’d piss Memphis fans off.
Kentucky fans really shouldn’t have anything to say. Like you said we beat them in football AND 2/3 times in basketball

And we beat KY in basketball 2/3 the year before last, just couldn't beat them in the SEC tournament

Guys, I have had an extremely rough start to my football season. My Fulton Falcons are 0-5 with Maryville up next, our Vols are 1-3, my Dolphins are complete trash at 0-3 and the Atlanta Falcons are 1-2. My teams are a combined 2-13! 🤢

Oh hell yeah, I was going to welcome u with open arms anyway, but being a Fulton (probably an alum, like me, too) fan, puts u at the top of favorite posters. Fulton replaced like 22 seniors and I think over half started, so we are just rebuilding and should be fine next year. Once again, we have basketball season (kinda mirrors UT) coming up and I have no doubt, Jody will have 'em making another run at State.

I’m beginning to wonder if some of the kids that should be going to Fulton, are making their way to Central?🤔

I don't even consider teams being "the greatest" in the 50's. The game was not even close to being the same. Teams were all white, I mean Bama was all white until the early 70's I think until USC laid a smack down on them and showed them that having all white teams weren't going to work anymore.

I feel the same way with UK's championships in the 40's and 50's.



Basketball was played like this and UK fans want us to take those championships serious? Those guys would be lucky to be walkons today.

Modern basketball was born 85,86 with the official addition of shot clock and 3 pointer. Lawd. Many games pre shot clock were unwatchable. Worse than soccer and baseball.

Defining making it open to public is key. It sure is a violation if it’s publicized but it’s hard to define open to the public I guess

The issue is you are policing the players now if you think this is an issue. Technically players can’t be told to stay in contact with recruits or told to do anything other than host them by coaches during visits. We all know that isn’t the case. Now if a player stated his coaches told him
To publicize such a workout there could be an issue but I doubt that would ever be the case
