Yeah, the hype from some got a little out of control. James is going to be a fine player, but he’ll never be the kind to average 20 ppg, most likely. He is just too unselfish. Right now, it almost looks like he is trying to feel things out and find where he fits in to the offense.I can see why JJJ fell off ESPN's darft board
Rough week for UK fans
He is trying to get a feel for his role within this group of players, at least in my opinion. That shows a true level of maturity and unselfishness on his part. The way he moves....he's so fluid. He is going to show his worth once he gets settled.Yeah, the hype from some got a little out of control. I honestly wasnt too tore up about losing to UT in football. Just the nature of the loss and how I feel we really blew it...that hurt. With Terry I think we'd have won a couple more games. We are wasting some wr's and te's. The defense though is way better than I thought it would be.
Basketball I actually feel nothing. Yeah it sucks and it's a historically bad loss, but I see the potential. We will have better shooting nights and our defense was still good, just unlucky that a few of the Evansville guys hit tough ones.
If we lose to Vandy or UT Martin I might lose all hope for the football team. I'm more confident Cal will figure it out as we go along.
How do you feel about Stoops as a coach? I've seen a lot of people talking about firing him after the UT game. I think he should be given some slack as he is having to use a WR at QB. I guess he should've recruited QBs better tho.

Like I said, he seems to be feeling out his way. That can be seen as passive. He missed some valuable practice time this fall, and finding his role won't happen in November, most likely.I’ll just take 10 PPG at this rate. There’s a difference between unselfish and passive. He’s passive. It’s not good. It’s two games yes, but he’s shown little.
It’s funny I was posting about it earlier because I just happen to run into a friend this afternoon whose boyfriend works at their athletic department. She texted him and said he’d get me some good tickets. We’ll see. His family is from Knoxville and he roots for the vols so hopefully he won’t stiff me.Ah, that's great. I would love to go, but the tickets were pretty expensive. You'll have a blast!
