I’m sure it’s been mentioned but DJ Burns is killing it for Winthrop his last couple games

Against ETSU he had 17 points on 8 of 10 shooting. 3rbs 3 ast 2 to 1 blk and 1 stl

Their front court is pretty solid

I hope loosing Burns doesn't come back to bite us. On the positive side Fulky and Pons have certainly been playing well. I was able to watch the replay of the Washington game last night and was pleasantly surprised at how big and strong ON seemed to be able to play. If those three stay healthy we may be okay.

Not sure where it was discussed about the whole UK not playing any Wednesday games prior to Saturday, but this stat is even more astonishing...

Updated for this year
3: Miss St
2: UK, UT, Aub, LSU, Bama, Vandy
1: Ark, Fla, Miss, USC, UGA, TAMU
0: Missouri

Two years in a row with favorable scheduling for Mizzou yet nothing to show for it. UT, Auburn and Miss St with the toughest. The three biggest risers.

Teams who benefit by being the last team on their opponents Wed-Sat-Tue stretch:
4: Miss St
3: Miss, Mizzou, UK
2: Bama
1: UGA, Aub, Ark, TAMU, UT, Florida

Bama hosts us at home to end one of their W/S/T. And we get Ole Miss and UK to end ours.

Seems like Auburn and UT have gotten the short end of the stick the last 2 years. Missouri the opposite.

Good info, GB. Thanks for the work.

Number of times each team plays at a rest disadvantage vs their opponent. (ie Kentucky played on Wednesday prior to their Saturday game against Auburn who last played on Tuesday). I'm not counting the first game of the SEC play since the schools are responsible for scheduling their prior opponent, and I'm also not counting Big 12 challenge (ie Alabama plays K State after playing on Wed vs K State who played on Tues)

6 - USC
5 - Auburn
4 - Bama, Vandy
3 - LSU, UF, UGA
2 - Mizzou
1 - Ark, UK, Miss
0 - Miss St, Tenn, TAMU

0 - Ark

We have extra rest for our second game against USC and both our games against Auburn ;)

Good stuff! SEC office must have heard the outcry against UK having additional rest in every one of their Saturday conference games, last season.

Hypothetically I’d like to play in Memphis every year for recruiting. But realistically it doesn’t seem to matter anyway.

Don't blame him at all. When the other coach wanted to falsely accuse CRB's players of unsportsmanlike behavior and then tried to create some personal rift with CRB I'd tell Penny to kick rocks. There are a ton or good programs CRB can schedule home and home series with that will keep the focus on the student athletes playing the game. CRB doesn't appear to be willing to put up with drama from his own players, why in the world would he put up with such nonsense from the opposing coach?
