For something completely different, I liked what I saw from Plavsic last night. He obviously is lacking in a feel for the game but he is big and strong and willing to get physical and compete. He seemed to be able to bend his knees and get into a defensive stance pretty well for a 7 footer. I think he needs to continue to get some real game minutes and hopefully compete in some high level games like the rocky top league over the summer. I’m not saying he is going to be a star next year but can develop into a nice contributor next year and especially after Fulky leaves.

I wish I shared your optimism. The trend at this point seems for him to quickly pick up fouls battling for position on the offensive end of the floor, then waving his arms in protest with an anguished look on his face.
Just one time, I want to see him throw down a monstrous dunk on someone. Heck, I just want to see him dunk period.

To get a 5 seed we’d need to win and South Carolina to lose and Florida to lose their last 2. In that situation it wouldn’t matter if Miss St won or lost their last game they’d still be the 4 seed

Would love that, their NET is similar to Arkansas but I like our chances much more in that one.
Of course for Bama to slip to the 10, they’d need to lose to Mizzou which would probably also slip them down to Q2 matchup. Arkansas would be a Q1 on a neutral court.

Didn’t someone in the recruiting forum not want PJ Hall because they claimed UT had never had a successful white basketball player? Ignoring the obvious moronic “logic” at use there, I wonder if they’ve reconsidered their stance on white UT basketball players after the season Fulky is having

Yes, that opinion was out there, and as to your question, just the simple idea that this person would ward off any white basketball player because we hadn’t had a successful one in a while isn’t intellectually capable of reconsidering their stance. More simply put, you can’t fix stupid.

Was that Roust??? I can’t remember, but seems like it may have been?
