Amazingly, this team has now beaten as many ranked teams (#20 Washington, #20 VCU, #6 Kentucky) as last years team did the whole season (#1 Gonzaga, #4 Kentucky, #4 Kentucky again).

Just a weird/interesting fact, not trying to make any point (besides the point that we beat Kentucky a lot)

Maybe the most encouraging thing tonight was seeing JJJ consistently attack the basket in the second half. He even had a few very tough finishes at the rim through contact. Tournament or not, I hope he has a strong finish to this season that he can carry into the offseason and his sophomore year.
