I really thought hard about it and his was the first name that came to mind. I’m not sure if that’s because I remember him being the one, or if just sounds like the same kind of ridiculous opinion that he would cling to. I’m sure it is out there to be found if someone were motivated to find it.

Knowing how difficult it is to win the ncaa tournament, I have a question... if you had to bet on it, who wins a national title first: rick Barnes or kellie Harper?

Oof, that’s tough. Barnes obviously has the better track record, but the Lady Vols have obviously done it before. To be honest I expect neither to win one, but if I had to pick, probably Kellie. She has more years ahead of her one would think, and the Lady Vols have shown they’re capable as a program of doing it

I was going to say Barnes because of the talent we’re recruiting, but Barnes doesn’t have a great reputation in the tournament.

Yeah, if the question was “Who has a better chance to win a national championship in the next five years?” I definitely go Barnes. But Kellie could potentially coach 30 more years if all goes well, she’s young and has lots more years to get there

That’s kinda deceiving. It’s the first year under a new head coach, and the roster isn’t exactly what is needed to win. The fact we won one (which I assume was notre dame) is impressive.

As much as I love that we won at Rupp, I'm going to be pretty not happy if we lose today and get swept by an Auburn team that isn't nearly as good as their record.

Auburn is a bad matchup for us, unfortunately. They can get to the rim at will and we have no one that can, or certainly no one willing to try. All of their shots, when they don't settle for 3s, are high percentage looks, and we have to work for everything we get, many times settling for low percentage midrange looks because we struggle to get the ball to the rim. Wiley's size, like Azubuike for KU, is a problem for us, too.

Losing to them sucks, and you're right...they aren't really good. But, to be fair, neither are we. They can just beat us to the basket.

See you guys next year. I'm not hanging around this cesspool. And I couldn't care less about the NIT now.

Also want to add I f'n hate Auburn more than any team in college basketball right now, and maybe in all of sports.
