The Official “Regular Posters of the Basketball Forum” Thread

Had Central bbq last night and saw Lebron post a triple double tonight with my fine ass gf. And I didn't have to use my AK.
The most LeBron triple double ever: 8-24 from the field, 0-4 from beyond the arc, led his team in turnovers with 5 and the Lakers ended up losing. To top it off LeBron blamed the loss on his teammates being distracted.

Glad to hear that you are okay, though. Central BBQ is top notch!

I think the most Lebron triple double(s) ever was when he averaged one in the Finals

You forgot to mention the stellar defensive effort he gave.

Those are the two I am aware of. But, Woodward won last night, so Kessler will be playing in the GHSA state semifinals on Saturday, so I doubt he makes it in.
Curious what time his game is, our game is 2pm and he’s got a 3 hour drive...maybe they come in and leave before the game rips or early on?

I suppose that I'm probably blocked after last year when I was accused of being a "late to the party" bandwagon jumper" in this thread and offending some of the regulars with a couple of my posts during tourney time, but, I really have to agree with the consensus in this thread about game thread posters. Last night's game thread posts were pathetic, for the most part. I see why you all don't bother to participate in the running dialogue.

I find it amusing the number of people that are chiming in now-a-days and seem to have all the answers for UT b-ball. Where were these numb-nutz when we actually needed answers during the lean years of UT b-ball....if only they'd chime'd in then, we could've avoided several years of frustration!!

I know in football, they call them armchair or Monday morning quarterbacks. What do they call those same types in basketball?

His game is at 8pm. Probably not a good idea. Too many variables out of his control, like traffic. Game is at Fort Valley State, too, which is easily 1.5 hours south of Atlanta, and roughly 5 hours from Knoxville.

Even if he could make it happen logistically, it probably is just best that he stay with his teammates and ride the bus with them as part of the team. He’ll never get those experiences back, and it probably isn’t a good look for him to ditch them at such a big moment for a rushed visit to Knoxville, and then show up last minute to play.

Hopefully he makes it in some other time.

Just best to steer clear of that madhouse.
