I’m taking a break from this forum due to constant bickering about Barnes and how Pearl was treated so “unfairly” by the University and the NCAA.

The Pearl lovers will do anything to downplay his actions because they know deep down what he did was wrong but just because it’s Bruce Pearl, it doesn’t matter.

This year was very unfortunate due to injuries and bad luck. It is what it is.

I’m still proud of this team regardless.

Let’s put on a good showing in the NIT.

Also want to add I f'n hate Auburn more than any team in college basketball right now, and maybe in all of sports.

The only way we don't go to the NIT is if RB or UT declines. They would love to have UT

We know he did wrong, but based on what others have done and got away with, Bruce did nothing more than throw a bubble gum wrapper on the ground

The SEC isn’t good. And even though we’re a mediocre team in a down year for the SEC the SECT always gives you a shot. I’ll certainly be watching. Even so, I figured we’d be an NIT team this year. I just want to see these guys improve. And would be nice to see them win some games in the NIT

Ashton hagans posted ( and quickly deleted) a video of him holding a big stack of money.... atleast try and hide it.

I -loved- when Pearl was here and the excitement the program had + the success we hadn't enjoyed in my early adult life. That being said, I could care less about the actual violation that Pearl committed, it wasn't a big deal.

The attempts to lie and cover it up is the reason I would never ever want him back. That to me, showed he wasn't about the University and was more about himself. Your true character is shown when under pressure, and sweating through a full suit isn't because of pressure, it's because of poor health. I wish him the best and pull for him at Auburn when they're not playing us, but I do not want him back. I hope he's learned from his mistakes.

I guess anybody could make a run, but I don't think the conference is that good. Auburn will not make a run this year. I guess UK could theoretically make a FF, but they don't make enough from 3, which will cost them in a game.

LSU and UF are average.
