Be mad at Hooker and playcalling all you want, but the biggest reason we are losing is because Geirgia has **** down our run game. We have 64 yards and averaging 2.4 yards per carry. Pur offense is accustomed to much better performance. We ate made one dimensional today

Yup, if run game is ineffective, Georgia can play a minimum number in the box and cheat out into coverage. That is the one way to stop this Offense and Georgia played it perfectly. The O line could not open the holes needed. We lost in the trenches

Honestly surprised UGA took their foot off the gas in the 4th quarter. A scoop and score or some other flukey play and the vols could have been down only a TD with several minutes to play. Another flukey play or two and the vols could have taken the lead.

Would have been the biggest injustice in the world but TN could have gotten lucky and won the game.

They literally threw deep with less than 4 minutes left.

It felt like we got obliterated because we have gotten used to our offense being unstoppable. Georgia had control of the whole game because they got out ahead after 3 enormous yardage passes in the first. Without that, the entire game would have gone differently and not necessarily in a good way. That unchecked blitz was ridiculous.

They did not take their foot off the gas. Three series in a row - (1) fumble and we recovered, (2) 3 plays -8 yards, (3) 3 plays -2 yards. The defense actually stepped up and stopped them.

Well not the only reason but he was a large part Heisman QBs have to be great . He had a bad day for what ever reason though hope he snaps and clears and finishes like the 1st 8 games

He had a bad game because we got outplayed and out coached. We couldn’t block. They put 6 and even 7 in coverage on almost every pass play. A lot of them were coverage sacks

We need to go out and put a spanking on everyone else the rest of the season and probably need a little help but we can still make the playoffs but at the end of the day finishing strong and 11-1 is a solid year. A good bowl game

Kirby's same grab and hold secondary just like he did while coaching at Bama. When the flags came out the receivers got open. He did defend though like I thought he would with the sit back and make TN dink and dunk.

We could never get them out of the 2-high stuff. I kinda wish we would’ve condensed our formations because it felt like they knew what was coming. Georgia is too disciplined to have gigantic coverage busts if you don’t change your routes/tendencies. Those couple of deep balls would’ve been great to hit. Georgia hit 3, we hit none. That’s really the ballgame. Are they better on the lines? Yes. But I don’t think we played our best game. I want these guys again.

Yes - some folks just want to make this worse than it was. The defense actually stopped them enough times that had we been able to score we would have caught up.

Look at evaluated talent of starters for todays game. TN has a ways to go on talent not to mention quality of depth is better on GA side as well. How long will it be before TN catches up talent wise? At some point, scheme / player development has to close the gap as recruiting will take years to catch up.

I’m fine with most likely finishing 11-1, but this offense got away from what it does best. Worst game of the season for our OL

Oh yeh it was terrible, but I think our oline has been very decent , but not elite . For whatever reason, Georgia players didn't take several games seriously this year and it hid their real "power" . I would bet if Oregon played UGA again, it would be very similar to their first game. I'm not slobbing Georgia. I despise those cocky dbags , but the proof is in the pudding and they're just top level in talent.

We have to win out impressively. It’s doable. We didn’t get any season ending injuries. Hendon had a bad game. We played a really good team on their field. We still have a lot to play for. We were not out coached. We were just beat by a good team.

As bad as I hate it, we should probably hope Alabama wins out and can play Georgia. We have to win impressively and hope we get in as a 4 seed and can play Georgia on a neutral field. We still have a lot to play for and I am sure that’s what Heupel is preaching in that locker room. Go Big Orange. It’s one game. Win the next three and who has a better resume than us??? Clemson….no….TCU will get beat?? Go Vols.

Stats-wise, this was a closer game than the score would suggest. We just got off to a shaky start and UGA capitalized on a couple of scoring opportunities in the first-half that made the difference.
