Actually 7 to 3. UGA only scored a field goal on its first drive of the second half and then the UT defense shut them down. UGA only had +5 net yards after that first drive of the second half.

I think the national take away from this game will be not that we are bad, but Georgia is that good. If you gotta have a loss on your resume this is the one you want. We are the real deal and nothing that happened tonight changes that

It's in every Tennessee's fan interest to be a huge GA fan thru the SECCG. Hopefully they wax their remaining schedule and blow Bama out in the SECCG.

Stats-wise, this was a closer game than the score would suggest. We just got off to a shaky start and UGA capitalized on a couple of scoring opportunities in the first-half that made the difference.

Look at evaluated talent of starters for todays game. TN has a ways to go on talent not to mention quality of depth is better on GA side as well. How long will it be before TN catches up talent wise? At some point, scheme / player development has to close the gap as recruiting will take years to catch up.

Georgia's defensive players looked under-sized and slow. No pass rush whatsoever. Where did Smart get those guys, Walmart? The DBs looked lost, during the entire game. I felt like Georgia's offense was at a pot-luck dinner, after Bennett spent too much time at the casserole table. He threw one pass after another up for grabs. He and the rest the associates must have felt a bit worried about making the start of second shift. Guys like that get the ax for showing up late, as they too often do. They have no sense of time or timing. I've watched a lot of Georgia teams over the years. That was without a doubt Georgia's worst collection of spastics, ever. Tennessee should never lose to a team like that.

We need to go out and put a spanking on everyone else the rest of the season and probably need a little help but we can still make the playoffs but at the end of the day finishing strong and 11-1 is a solid year. A good bowl game

And recruit O lineman like they are going out of style

Georgia coaches had their team ready and their players wanted it more. The Vols were probably a little star struck being newly minted #1. I don’t think Heupel and the Vol coaches had our players ready. The offensive penalties were ridiculous. The good news is that we still have a chance to finish the regular season 11-1 and make the playoffs or a really good bowl.

After 15 years of suck, the Vols are back!!!

We need multiple top 5 recruiting classes in order to be able to win games like this. It's just the reality of the situation. Coaching is important but when you're just completely out manned, there's no amount of coaching that can overcome that.

You have to give some credit to the loud Georgia crowd. Had the game been in Knoxville I think it could have been a different game.

We have to win out impressively. It’s doable. We didn’t get any season ending injuries. Hendon had a bad game. We played a really good team on their field. We still have a lot to play for. We were not out coached. We were just beat by a good team.

As bad as I hate it, we should probably hope Alabama wins out and can play Georgia. We have to win impressively and hope we get in as a 4 seed and can play Georgia on a neutral field. We still have a lot to play for and I am sure that’s what Heupel is preaching in that locker room. Go Big Orange. It’s one game. Win the next three and who has a better resume than us??? Clemson….no….TCU will get beat?? Go Vols.

I'm pretty sure 1 vs 4 game is in Atlanta...hardly neutral, imo.
