We were beat by a really good Georgia team , we lost 27-13 missed three deep throws that could have been 6, Hyatt one, McKoy one, and Tightend one. But damn our defense played solid . The way we were not making plays on offense I felt like we should have been down 45-3. CJH second year and we go 11-1 I’ll take it. We will be competitive for years to come . Beat LSU, Bama, and Florida in the same year been a long, long , long time since we’ve done that. Just wish we would have had Qb drop back about 9-10 yds. 5 yds will not work vs ga. We left a lot of deep throws out there due to Hooker not creating a way to give himself more time.

Y’all….it’s football and there are ups and downs. It means nothing in the scheme of things. We weren’t supposed to win tonight. The other team didn’t outplay us, we sucked for some reason and we weren’t able to overcome our dumbassery. We can all be glad that we don’t call Athens Ga home and pull for a team that barks at their adversaries. I’ve only known two GA fans in my life and neither could tell you the starting QB. It’s not that big of loss, we will be fine.

No, I just feel you are pretty weak as a fan. You argue more than most trolls on this site about how bad we are. Go watch our coach's post game presser and maybe realize we have exactly what we need to be in charge of our program. I have followed the VOLS since I was a freshman in high school over 45 years ago. I have seen this team through high points and low points, I marched in the Pride of the Southland during the 80's and got to be a part of the magic of the '85 Sugar Bowl. I guess my love for this team just runs extremely deep and I can't stand fair weather fans that act like you when we lose one game against the best team in the country (outside of us, that is). It is OK to be upset, but acting like we are trash and don't deserve some respect this year is absolute garbage.

Ok, we will go with that. Can't prove anything one way or the other. It didn't happen. Be happy for the season or not. I will be happy and feel sorry for you if you cant.

Exactly…. Call me out all day and night if I’m wrong, I promise I will graciously take it and own up to my mistake…. It’s just how I see it playing it out in the long run (we all have opinions right?), but in the end I will be super excited to see a Sugar Bowl appearance

Fair enough. I do think we prob drop to 5 or 6 at this point. If we win out, we have to see how the dominoes fall.

No it didn't happen so it's just what if's at this point and as far as the season I said way back in this thread, lets go 11-1 and get a good bowl game no reason to feel sorry for me

Never once did I say I wasn’t happy with the season thus far but also don’t see reason to celebrate today as a moral victory and just something to look over as just ok… coach heupel won’t accept today as just “it’s okay guys you tried hard and lost” we as fans can’t be okay with it either

Agreed. It sucked to lose today but day going 11-1, who would've thought that in year 2 for this team.
We're still not out of the CFP but will need some help.
Clean up some stuff and lets go win next week and finish the rest of the season strong

But it doesn't change the season. I will not dwell on the one bad game but will focus on what will be the great 11 wins that we will end up with. One loss does not change the rest of the season. I don't like it, but it doesn't change how I feel about the team one iota. As for the coach, like I posted earlier, watch his presser to help yourself survive this shock to your system. It might just restore your faith.

Not a Vol fan because I can’t settle right away for what happened today, just because you played in the band in the 80’s or whatever doesn’t give you all the power to delegate who is a fan and who isn’t….

We absolutely deserved the #1 ranking this week. It is possible to be ranked #1 (undefeated against our strength of schedule) and lose to an undefeated, lower ranked team (due to their strength (or lack of) of schedule.

GA was better than us tonight. They'll be #1 next week. That doesn't mean we didn't deserve to be #1 this week.

Don't lose heart Vol Nation. We played a team with an elite defense on the road and got beaten soundly. The crowd was a major factor. The little extra breaks went their way and not ours. The weather hit right when we needed to be able to make a comeback push.

But everything is still on the table.

Our offense will not be shut down by Missouri, Vanderbilt, or South Carolina.

And our defense is improving (I didn't think we would hold UGA to 3 TDs).

We will finish strong and have a high probability of making the playoff. Let's f'n GBO!

uga deserves and gets no respect from me. They won. Who cares.

Still a trash program, most annoying fanbase in sports.

I'm proud to be a Vol tonight, and do not have anything positive to say about uga. It's a trash program. I'm disappointed so many of my fellow Vol fans seem to want to kiss their butts. I never will.

Georgia's offense was probably not as good as ours , but their defense just broke us mentally as much as physically. We should finish the year without any drama , unless our team just hangs it up. Don't see it happening.
