Thank you! It will be alright. I’ve just got to do some lumbar traction/decompression along with some back extension exercises and it should be ok within a month or so. Almost all of us would have some sort of disc problem if we went and got an MRI, but not all of us would have symptoms. Luckily I just went through school and know exactly what these symptoms are and don’t need to waste money on an MRI. If anyone does ever have a bulging disc, 9 times out of 10 it’s pushing back towards one side of your spinal cord/nerve roots, which in turn causes the radiating leg pain down that side, otherwise known as sciatica to most people. Unfortunately this is what I start experiencing whenever I’ve been on my feet all day and 2pm-3pm rolls around and the leg pain starts because the spine has been compressed and continuously pushing the disc and irritating the nerve. So it’s best to stay away from the trunk/hip flexion positions as those make the condition worse, and instead work on extension exercises to essentially push the disc back into alignment.
