Our offense was yuck tonight. Credit to Kentucky’s bullpen.
Leaving THAT many on base (especially with bases loaded in the first three innings) and unable to capitalize came back to bite the team.

Valiant effort on defense but otherwise Yuck.

Flush and come back tomorrow (or Saturday if doubleheader).

Not whining about the theatrics. If one of the KY players enters the field of play prior to the runner touching home, it’s interference - that’s why it’s bush league and completely stupid.

They have every right to celebrate - they won. Game isn’t over until the winning run touches home.

We depleted our bullpen as well. But thankfully our pitching is much deeper.

I mean you knew that was coming, offense wasn't doing jack and the previous 4 innings UK had threatened. It just sucks it happened with 2 outs. Just couldn't get it done.

Our offense let our pitching down with a lack of run support after the early innings.
Even when we went to extras, I wasn’t confident because our offense was lackluster.

It was just one of those nights.

I have no issue with it. It’s their home field and they just walked off the #1 team after a hard fought game. They can celebrate all they want.

So when we had 25 guys running around in foul territory and crowded around home before Drew crossed, last year in the regionals was it bush league? Or when our HC went sprinting out of the dugout and ran clear past first base on contact?

Need to read my other post about entering the field of play prior to the game be completed. A cpl of the KY players were very close to entering the field of play before the runner touched home plate. Let the guy touch home - then rush the field. So yeah it was bush league and stupid.

Crowding around plate in foul territory Is not entering field of play.
