last year Steenstra tore it up at the plate when Liam went down. He can hit, but hitting is confidence and you can just tell he doesn't have it right now. Maybe the double off the wall last night will get him going. Withoiut a doubt, he may be the smoothest infoeder on the roster.

I am glad Steenstra stayed. He would start on every team in the country, except for Tennessee.

Ran into Beam, Evans and Sechrist at lunch in StarkVegas earlier today. Drew told me they’re on their own during the day just don’t miss thr team bus to the field. I’m not necessarily surprised by it but still thought it was neat they’re given autonomy to do what they want on the road.

@preacherman20 he was disappointed that Kirby wasn’t in the pitching group today. When they left he said maybe Kirby will show up later while we’re still here .

He probably ate lunch with his girlfriend. We are staying at our middle son‘s house which is about an hour away. Find me tonight and I will make sure he gets an autograph and picture after the game

Elander will get his own gig eventually. I'm not convinced that we loose him after this season. Another year of success like we're having and we'll be hard pressed to keep him. That's the thing with success, everyone is watching.

Josh is 32. CTV was 38 when UT hired him and he was almost considered to young to be a head coach in the SEC. Now, there is a small trend of young head coaches getting a shot however I personally think Josh is a few more years out.

I’d be shocked if they got rid of Bohannon. They’ve improved a little each year. However, he and CTV were hired at the same time and when you compare the 2, it looks bad for CBB.
