I like Steenstra at SS of he's on the field . May be some moved around best per position and batting average will probably be the ultimate decision. Steenstra can cover a lot of ground. Hitting may be the biggest thing to work on. Coach has a great problem many many to choose from .

last year Steenstra tore it up at the plate when Liam went down. He can hit, but hitting is confidence and you can just tell he doesn't have it right now. Maybe the double off the wall last night will get him going. Withoiut a doubt, he may be the smoothest infoeder on the roster.

So who’s the MVP of this club??? Hmm… I would have to ponder that one a bit…this could go into some deep convos!! Let’s just save this for the latter part of June!!! … if this team finds itself in Omaha, I like the build up !!! Let’s keep playing one game at a time.

The team is blessed with many options . We'll probably need to wait like you said hope the cream comes to the top at the right time.

Ok with softball playing Campbell.
But would not be happy to see their baseball team as 4 seed in Knoxville.
A 2 or 3 maybe, just need to avoid their #1 guy

I agree. I pretty much had him penciled in as the starter before the season began . I had a team like this about 15 years ago oh how much fun it is. But it still weighs on a coach hoping to keep everyone happy.

We get the local yokels tonight. Which- for on, may be entertaining. Even Nick Belmonte at Florida would have trouble finding the bright side for the home team after last night.

By the way, read the Mick Hubert is retiring after 33 years at Florida as play-by-play for the three major sports. I always liked him and thought he was too classy to be in Gainesville.

Not wrong. I’d like to avoid elite breaking ball pitchers or elite hitting teams. Aside from that, we’re the team everyone wants to avoid in Hoover, Regionals, Supers, and Omaha.

We wouldn’t face either of those teams until final. Auburn or LSU would be on our side as it stands now along with whoever gets out of the first round game between Mississippi and Georgia (I believe as it stands now).

Arkansas and A&M will likely play 2 brutal games against each other to get to final day. So we would likely be looking at the winner’s #3 , 4 or 5 starter. Don’t think that would be a good judge of their relative strength.

If seeds hold, we would play Auburn on Thursday. Win and off to Saturday. Where we would likely play again on Saturday.

Playing both Arkansas and Texas A&M is not possible as they have the 2/3 seeds sewed up between the two of them.
