Exactly. It makes a player really anxious at the plate when literally anything can be called a strike. This ump was pretty consistent though, calling everything in, out, and down…..strikes. Consistently terribly called game.

He extended the regulation zone down to a foot below the knees and a foot outside. There isn't a human being who can hit a pitch that low and outside. (except for Bo Jackson, maybe)
