Turns out it was a really crazy night of baseball.

VA Tech hammered #2 Miami to secure the series win.
K State secured a series win against #7 TX.
Bradley secured series against #16 Dallas Babtist.
FL State secured series against #9 Louisville.
TCU secures series against #4 TX Tech.
Duke secured series against #10 ND.
Pitt takes down #8 VA.

Seems the baseball gods are angry this weekend.
Baseball is fun.

I do love it! I bleed orange but was excited for TTU, this week. Those kids will tell their grandkids about that win some day.
Now last nights loss disgusts me in a major way, only because it’s bama.

Last night will just make riding home with a series loss that much more painful.

Pellet smoker at 250 degrees

I’ll add more specifics. I spray with apple juice every hour or so. I’ll cook it until internal hits about 160 and then wrap in aluminum pan, coat bottom of pan with butter and brown sugar. Put back on smoker until internal hits 205, pull it off and wrap in a towel (leave in pan) and stick in a cooler for an hour or two to rest before pulling. I use apple and pecan blend of pellets.

Yeah man it turns out nice that way. I like a KC style/sweet and savory flavor so it suits me. Hard to mess up a good slab of pork butt.

Man, it comes out perfect every time, doesn’t it!
I love our Traeger, it’s made me a master Q’ man!
We cook everything but steaks on ours. If you ain’t cooking a steak in a cast iron skillet, you ain’t doing it right!
I will never again pay to eat steak at a restaurant!

I think you’re right. They may not be so bad if the stripe were eliminated completely.
Actually, yeah, they’d still be awful but that would go a long way in helping to pull off that combo.
