66 sums it up pretty good. We want the Baseball Forum to be a fun place where everyone can come and have a good time, make a few comments, agree or disagree, and for the most part get along with everyone. With the influx of new posters, which we all welcome and encourage, we noticed a lot more negative type post that do nothing but stir up emotions. Hopefully by having more eyes on posts, we can control the unnecessary bickering that happens in other places. Having a debate from two different sides is great, but when personal attacks, insults, bashing players, etc. starts happening, we need to try and put an end to it……we aren’t going to be perfect, we just want to keep things as civil as possible. OT

Usually people approach me about something or another and I sucker them into it before they realize what they’re getting into.

With 66 and OT, I felt like these guys have been pillars of the baseball forum for a very long time and shared a similar view of the vision I have for this place moving forward.

yes, however CTV tries to play every non-conference game at Linsdey Nelson, its just his philosophy about being in the SEC and other teams coming in to play you. Last year we did play Western Carolina, Lipscomb, Charlotte and maybe another on the road.......

Edit: yes, Austin Peay and not Lipscomb........

The reason I ask is, do you guys discuss those games on the baseball forum, because I really hope you do! It’s so much fun over here and much more civil!

I'll ocasionally check in here to see if anyone is watching a football or basketball game.
Trying to follow a football gameday thread is an impossibility for me.

I personally don't visit the other forums to often.....I'm a baseball guy but I do follow all other sports. Feel free discuss all the other sports in your own thread if you like. I feel that there are several folks on the Baseball Forum that would prefer to stay here as mush as possible.

I‘m a fan of all UT sports but actively watch and/or attend baseball, football, and basketball in that order. I now (shockingly to say) prefer UT baseball over any team or sport including football or even my Atlanta Braves. Vols baseball is the best!
