It’s why I never hate on Currie (but did write several emails protesting Schiano). I think Currie is a decent AD. However, I think because he’d worked at UT prior to being hired as AD, he wasn’t independent from or strong enough to stand up to Jimmy Haslam (who I believe was the primary reason Schiano’s name was at top of list) - he’d impressed Jimmy when interviewing for Browns. I’m not hating on Jimmy either. He wants the best for UT & that family has done a lot for my community. It’s been a heckuva long road with lots of wrong turns, but the Vitello hire was a great one and is paying off big-time throughout Tennessee athletics.

The Schiano hire goes into the hiring hall of shame as #1. Similar to the Notre Dame coach being hired by LSU, who thinks that will work out?? Anyway, however it got done, the coaching positions have been adequately filled. I give White most of the credit.

They could even re-create the ticket so that seller doesn't have to send the tickets to the buyer. Just deactivate the existing ticket and activate a ticket that the purchaser can pick-up at will call.

I think ultimately you may be right and Beam could get the start, but there is an inherent risk with using him on Friday and I’m sure Tony knows that. Can’t overlook any opponent, especially after Wright State last year. Every team is going to give you their best shot!

I think Dollander is our best starting arm, but guessing we see Tidwell given his experience. Regardless, I think it’s Tidwell and Dollander in the first 2 games, but could be in either order. Then we close out the regional with a Beam/Burns combo like we saw in Hoover against Kentucky.

all good - wasn't why I was posting. I do appreciate that though. I wasn't sure how far you go back with the program or if there were more ties than I could connect the dots with going off of the comments here on VN.
