Gilbert was 2-5 with 2 RBI. He’s batting .385 and has more walks than strikeouts on the season. He is the last person to worry about.

I wasn't worried about him, just noticing how he had chased a lot of bad pitches. Made up for it today with a double that drove in 3 runs, then the big blast in the top of the 9th. All is right with him again.

I’m feeling old as I type this- I was there for Connor’s first game (as a student), Delmonico’s first game (on a date with my future wife ), Raleigh’s first game, Serrano’s first game, and Vitello’s first game.

I’ve said it before, but these past few years have more than made up the bad to mediocre baseball that came after CRD. Before CTV arrived, I told my oldest that we had seen a lot of good teams, but unfortunately much of the time they were in the visitor’s dugout.

Things have changed for the better! GBO!
