I have a gripe I'd like to share here. In that other thread about the 2022 champions there was a poster saying this season would be forgotten if "we choked" in Omaha. I don't know about anyone else, but I just don't see it that way. There are just too many variables to take into consideration. Why, if we lose, did we choke? Perhaps the other team just outplayed us. It happens. Pitching has been consistent this year, but you all.know hitting can be the proverbial box of chocolates. And the further we go, the better the competition is going to be. Do I want us to win? Heck yes. Will I be disappointed if we dont ? Certainly. Will it make me forget the accomplishments of this team in this special season? No way. Winning it all is hard. So, just wanted to put that out there. Go Vols, all the way, but win or lose, its been a hell of a ride this season.

I agree with you. Whoever posted that crap should be ashamed. This season won’t be forgotten regardless of what happens in the postseason. Referring to choking in the postseason should be justifiable cause to revoke any claims of being a Vol fan. Just a poor excuse of a bandwagon “fan”.

Just the way I am, but I consider Tennessee. baseball as entertainment, and I’ve been thoroughly entertained the last two seasons……whether they win it all or not, it’s not going to bother me one bit. I’d love to see the natty come to UT however if they fall short, whooptydo, I’ll be back next year and I’m sure I’ll be entertained again. Folks get too bent out of shape over athletics, just my opinion.

This team is special, period! They are SEC regular season champs, period! They are SEC tourney champs, period!
This ️ program and team has brought so much happiness to all of Volnation . Many Vols fans are now fans of the game. There are Non /Vol fans who have tuned into our games and/or followed TN ️ to see what’s up w/ the daddy hat, fur coat, the “Stach,” and our pitcher who throws 103 mph.

With that said, I hope this team wins it all. If they don’t, this season has been a huge success for the reasons I listed above. Baseball is a funny game and I was reminded of that sat night and today Vs FL.

Saw lots of Vollie Fingers gear on tv this week. It was awesome.

I wore mine w pride and enjoyed meeting Kirby’s parents and a few others in Hoover today. Plus the young man came through in the 8th and the place was rock’n after the last out.

I wanted to stay after the championship ceremony but we decided to hit the road and are now just getting home. We are exhausted but we’ll worth it! I just hope the young men and staff know how much they mean to us Vol fans on and off the field.

Got home from Hoover not too long ago. Man oh man, what an environment. Could we have asked for anything better for the SEC Tournament Championship? I’ve never been to Omaha, but I would have to imagine that this is pretty close to what it feels like. I’m going to enjoy sipping on some alligator tears before bed. Words cannot explain how proud I am of this team. On a side note we got a picture with Dollander, we told him we would try to make the super regionals if they make it there. His response as he is walking away and turning back: “We’re gonna make it.”
