Beck should likely issue an apology for the behavior. Those kids they all love to be around see this stuff and they are better young men than that. I don't mind the Daddy hat, fur cleats and fur coats but we lose our self awareness sometimes with these guys just being young cocky athletes. I don't feel a suspension is warranted but truly have some class and set an example for the young uns that are watching.I agree but I think this game should be played w class. Maybe something was said earlier in the game, who knows. But it would not surprise me if the SEC or NCAA says something. Hope not. I love this team, including Beck. My son said he is a cool young man, very competitive, even in pickup basketball games on campus. So just kids being kids, I guess.
If we suspend a player in the post-season for simply flipping the bird, I have lost all faith in this world. How freaking soft that would be. Grow some thicker skin if that hurts your feelings. Ain’t no crying in baseball.
Third definitely. Second? Not so much.Yeah. No need to put gas on the fire as the kid feels bad enough and needs to regain his confidence. He’s had a great glove all yr til tonight. He just needs to make one or two plays next game and he will forget about tonight. The last error was all mental as he had a play at 3rd or 2nd base.
Ignore. Ask away and don’t worry about others. Let them get their jollies off being rude. The baseball forum has some great people on it and helped bring me closer to the game.
Best if three starts either Fri or Sat. It looks like the Irish are on their way to Knoxville unless they drop two to Texas Tech. They have strong pitching whic concerns me a bit after tonight’s game.
As aforementioned, here I am. Where my Negas at?!
I like my soul medium rare. I think most of the BaseVols probably just eat it raw.
I stopped posting because the thread was a full 5 mins ahead of my espn feed. Also, just couldn't handle the baseball-ignorant blathering by those who think this is a football game and the ones who just want to glory in hard times.
Go Vols!
And this thinking like this is exactly why we have fans throwing mustard bottles and golf balls. All Im saying is running bases with your middle finger up is a little much.Good grief! How hard is it to enjoy something without finding something to gripe about? They are college kids. We all did things at 18-21 years of age we probably wouldn’t do now. Get over it and be happy for the win.
