I feel good about this one. Kentucky has basically been playing elimination games since the last series of the season and now they’re on their second game of the day, a late nighter after a late afternoon game.

That would be perfect. 10 teams = 18-19 games for a true double elim over 6 days which is very doable and eliminate the totally screwed up single-double-single elim format they are using now.

I don’t like the idea of 6 teams not making the conference tourney in the future.

Like has been mentioned, and will be worse once Texas and Oklahoma come aboard, if SEC keeps a post season tournament it may be time to go single elimination.
