They told me it was a hornet’s nest, they told me we had elite pitching, they told me their ace was pitching game 1, they told me the regionals would be a good teaching moment to avoid slow starts, they told me ND wasn’t a home run hitting team and that we were, they told me we would come back from any deficit - I just hope they don’t tell me this is a good experience for a team that will be good next year because I don't want this season to end

I don't have to "just stand there". I'm a passionate as anyone about Tennessee baseball. Anyone who has the opinion that what went down was anything but an embarrassment, doesn't have the best interest of my university in mind.

Well, was working and couldn’t watch. Sounds like we laid a 💩 tonight. Sometimes a loss, knowing you were way off your game, is a great motivator. Boys got a few hours to put it behind them and focus on taking care of their business the right way tomorrow. GBO! 🍊

While this is true and the brand is good baseball, the Daddy Hat and Fur coats are one thing. Cussing umpires and staring them down is another. Along with a few other things like last week that need to be cleaned up. The umpire sucked we all agree, but he knew better. That's on Drew and if tonight was the last time he wears Vol uniform that's on him.

I wouldn’t say an embarrassment. Concerning? Yes, but not embarrassing.
We got outplayed by a team that had a case to be hosting, it happpens. Let’s wait until tomorrow or even Sunday, before we get too carried away.
I feel you rider, this one hurt, but I’m not going to count this team out yet.
