Brands can absolutely be damaged by a single negative event. Ask the Ford Pinto, Tylenol, or Firestone tires. We have a strong brand, but we’ve been running it into the rails the last couple of weeks. We don’t need to have players and coaches ejected, flip off opponents or throw fits. We can do better.
The topic is our team. Santa Claus can do better too. There are a lot of people that can do better and not just within our program. The conference, the officials/umps, the NCAA, and the list goes on. A wise man I saw speak said that indifference is the problem. If you don’t speak up, then it’s on you.
Nope. Have another beer, I am. I know I am a smart azz, but I don't care for cynicism or disparaging remarks. I am little, but I am feisty. I will not apologize if it embarrasses you. That's on you. Not literally on you, Army Wife. GBO! Here's to tomorrow. May there always be another tomorrow.Did I miss something here?
I know exactly who you’re talking about. Say no more. Hugs and cheers!Nope. Have another beer, I am. I know I am a smart azz, but I don't care for cynicism or disparaging remarks. I’ve seen it cause too many issues and it’s to a boiling point. The relationship between player/coach and umpires is not good. Just put the umpire behind the plate with an iPad that’s synced to the K Zone based off the player’s height. If the technology calls it the wrong way then the umpire has the K Zone in their hands with the correct call. In this era of technology it shouldn’t be that difficult to call a game fairly, for both teams.I’m so torn on this issue. Part of me thinks it’s a good idea but part of me doesn’t want to see the human element taken out of the game. I kinda feel like that’s what makes baseball, baseball.
But I get your point, because it can be very frustrating!
GBO!!
I will also add that for anyone that doubts this team you are more than welcome to cheer for that catholic team. We will be alright without you. This team was down 8-1 and had an opportunity to tie the game late. I wouldn’t want any other team in the country in this situation. Backs against the wall. You don’t want to play this team pissed off. And that’s exactly what they will be tomorrow. Our offense got some momentum going and it will be on full display.
.There’s no defending the ejection. This **** is ruining college sports. Old men can’t take a couple mean words when they make awful calls….like in what world is that an okay reason to make such impactful decisions? Absolute insanity that they’re so untouchable. And some people are okay with it. Insanity.
LVille A&M game - last inning a LVille batter turned to umpire and said that wasn’t an FN strike. Lol.
