That’s the rule in NCAA. If you get ejected as a player, you have to sit the next game as well. It’s almost like a targeting penalty in football, which is ridiculous.

Also everyone saying Gilbert is a kid.... He is a Senior he knows better. He will sign a contract somewhere. And if he doesn't kniw better than that hes either brain dead or the coaches failed him. But he sure can play baseball very well. He f<ked up. End of story and he knows it. Strike zones always chabge from ump to ump. However the timing of making a complete ass out of himself was at the wrong possible time

It happened. The umps saw it and didn't have a problem with it, so obviously, it's part of baseball. They could have suspended him if it wasn't part of baseball. It isn't clear that you know or understand the rules.
