Box scores from their regional show him playing LF. And he’s the kid that is lead off, bats .323 and 20-21 on stolen bases. Pretty much Vanderbilt’s Bradfield lite version. So I’m sure he probably does like his chances. But what I’ve learned in team sports is that if you talk, you are talking for the entire team and better be sure as heck they can back you up or it’s not going to be pretty.

We will not get SEC umpires this weekend and the same we are hated by many fans of other schools we may be hated by some umpires. Just hope we get the ones Friday and Saturday especially behind home plate that hate ND more than UT.

I'm not worried about our offense translating to Omaha. I feel like that is just a myth. We hit the ball well in Hoover, very well, and that park is similar to Omaha in many ways.

I don't know if it's a myth. Maybe, maybe not. I'd have to see some statistical analyses to decide. But here's some anecdotal data: We didn't get going offensively in Omaha last year. 4 runs in two games.
