It was yrs ago in the 70s and early 80s but I always bunted as led off man. I was short and had speed so coaches always had me “drag bunt.” I don’t know if that term is still used nowadays.
As I got older I was able to swing away but as a young kid, I hated bunting all the time.

It's the home plate umpire's call all the way to the bag down the line, but it looked like it was touched directly about the foul line which would make it a fair ball.

I thought it was touched in fair territory but missed replay.
