Highly likely that only two games get played today. Looks like the radar shows the weather passing around 2-3pm ET, so IF we are lucky Florida-A&M will start around 3-4pm ET. Which means we might get lucky enough to start our game around 7-8pm ET.

Whenever the final 8 teams were set, the SEC should have switched to single elimination the rest of the way. This is a total cluster.

Said in another thread, but since Alabama and Arky played under the pretense of double elimination I don’t think they can go single elimination now.

The Review: Saw’s BBQ

As another poster said the original is in Homewood. I didn’t know this location existed until today.

I had a pork/sausage combo with slaw and fried pickles(my wife wanted those. That was $17.50. Huge portion, worth it.

Let me preface with this. If you don’t like vinegar based Carolina BBQ, this might not be the place for you. That’s my favorite kind of BBQ, soooooo.

The pork was great on it’s own, the sauce brought it aliiiiiive! Going back to get a bottle tomorrow. The sausage and red sauce was even better, a great surprise. The Cole slaw, vinegar based of course, was great, but again I don’t like mayo based slaw. I wish we had one of these in Knoxville!

The kid had a sweet tea fried chicken sandwich with fries, he said it was probably the best chicken sandwich he’s ever had. That’s sayin something because he eats fried chicken 3-4 days a week, I’m so sick of fried chicken!

All my wife would say is this…”it’s 1000 times better than most the places you make me go.”
Lol, she’s a vegetarian. I’m holding out hope the Naner Pudding will push her over the edge!

There may be better places around here, I’m all ears, but this is better than anything I’ve had in Knoxville.

I love BBQ. Just got back from Memphis. Central, Blues City Cafe, and Rendezvous all great. Fried catfish at Blues City was awesome. JDs in Acworth GA very good. Got a beef brisket to smoke for the weekend. Got Saw’s on my next Gulf vacation lunch stop. Thanks!

Hoover SEC Championship….it is what it is. IMHO, winning regular season like we did is HUGE whereas the tourney is an opp for someone to make some money. We should just move from regular season to NCAAs like Football. Basketball is an indoor sport so N/A. Again, my opinion,

Game 7 between Tennessee and Vanderbilt will be played approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 6.
Game 8 between LSU and Kentucky will be played approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 7.

One, that's quite a bit of UT-ness when Auburn is more more of a rival to Bama than UT. If he's an Auburn fan, why not wear Auburn stuff? Second, dude also said he was tired from staying up late the night before "you know, watching the tournament." Right. I'm sure he wasn't out partying or anything.
