The Official #10 Tennessee @ Kentucky Game Thread, 1:00 PM ET, CBS

Barnes at practice: We need to focus on the defensive end.
Everybody else: What about offense?
Barnes: Defense wins games
Everybody else: You do know that you have to still be able to score?
Barnes:Not if you stop the other team from scoring.

How is it not fair to expect a win? I don’t think anyone here expects it to be easy at all, but we’re favored and this is NOT a good Kentucky team. They are one of the last four teams in the tournament right now. We’re supposed to be a Top 10 team.

We at the very least shouldn’t be getting our rear ends handed to us like we are. We should be better than what we’ve shown.
It’s upsetting to see us lose to Kentucky and to play poorly but expecting to win in Rupp without 2 of our 4 best players is an extremely tall task. Winning against Alabama was amazing but we shouldn’t discount how much Josiah and Jullian mean to the team

This has got to be Vescovi's worst game of his career. Nothing on offense and getting beat nearly every possession on defense

Kentucky should be far better than 17-9 right now. IMO, they are better than Alabama, Tennessee, or any one in the SEC but they have underachieved.

Does anyone actually believe we have the shooters to close the gap and make it a game?

Im crippled with indecision on whether to continue watching or not. It’s like watching my own car crash.

I’m optimistic they’ll play better in the 2nd half to make it a close game, however realistically Kentucky can still win because they’ve been solid in the 1st half because less terrible compared to Tennessee that has been 10 yards below mud awful.
Kentucky has been in the mud awful.
