Well, one of those players is Wheeler, which is to their benefit

And sure criticism is warranted but it’s not surprising to see a team off an extremely emotional win to not play as well going into Lexington against a super desperate team

I guess it just depends on your expectations. I loved beating Alabama but had no illusions that that meant we were suddenly a final four contender. I’ve not had those expectations for this team anyway. I’m not comfortable about this team entering the tourney but I never was. I’m rooting for a sweet sixteen, and feel better about next year

I never anticipate a win at Rupp no matter how good or not good Kentucky is, but this is two seasons in a row now where we haven’t even been competitive up there. Very frustrating.

That’s just BS. We didn’t come to play a below average Kentucky team. Why do we even care? Let’s blame the refs too. Two players out. Wow. Why didn’t we just forfeit and stay in Knoxville because we had two players out? Just terrible excuse of a game plan. We are below average at best.

Yep. And we beat #1 without them. Barnes just oversaw one of the worst halfs of basketball in team history. His only reaction... Calling a TO with 4 seconds in the game. It's remarkable how poor we just looked... Even if it is Rupp.

Today is a complete disaster so far. There's absolutely no other way to spin it. Arkansas just destroyed UK in Rupp and they also lost to a bad Georgia team and struggled vs Miss State in the last week. They look like the Globetrotters vs the Generals in 60 minutes against us so far this season.

I just don't understand how every player on the team has suddenly become terrible offensively. 3-4 weeks ago we were absolutely crushing teams. Scoring 70+ each game. Now it's a struggle to get to 50. Can't throw it in the ocean.

I mean, geez. How many losses do we have to teams that are either on the bubble or will not be in the tourney???

There is zero guarantee TN will be a 3 seed, they will lose this one and probably lose against TA&M, Auburn and possibly Arky. They might win one in SEC tourney contingent on matchup

First time I've turned a basketball game off at the half. This garbage offense is as bad as it gets. I see zero chance of a miraculous comeback. I have better things to do with my time.

Facts are facts and you are 100% correct. This team hasn’t played well since the loss vs Florida. We found a way to beat a couple of teams since then, inc Bama, but Bama had a bad game. TN has played numerous bad games over the past month.

Sure, obv you don’t want to score 19 in a half. I’m just saying if there was ever a spot for a let down, it was here. And the team really isn’t all that great to begin with so when they have a let down it’s gonna be ugly, especially in Rupp. Even last years team, which was better than this years, was demolished in Rupp

I don’t see us pulling out of this. I knew this was going to happen, beat Bama and flat against UK. Tuesday may not be any easier at A&M. Hope I’m wrong.

We are missing 2 of our starting guards...playing in Rupp. Not surprised we don't have any offense. We just need to get healthy and ready for the postseason. At full strength we are a good team. Losing to mediocre Kentucky team doesn't matter in the grande scheme of things..

Well, this sucks. I love the defense but I the offense is offensive. This team will have plenty of time to correct it before the tournament. Minus two key players on the road what can you expect.

We have had too many threes go in and out and not closing out the boards. Things we do well. We are 1-13 3pt shots in first half.

Start everyone of the practice guys in the second half. Probably be a similar outlook for three minutes.
Let the starters see how bad this looks.

Happens when you have a team that can play defense but can’t score consistently.

Gives UVA-UMBC vibes
