Well, one of those players is Wheeler, which is to their benefitI’m not discounting them, but Kentucky is also down 2 players and they aren’t a good team. Again, like I said, I’m not saying I expect it to be easy but we’re down 20 points at half to a TERRIBLE Kentucky team. I expect that a team that just beat the #1 team at home should be better.
Criticism is deserved with this performance. I don’t know why anyone would be comfortable or okay with how this team looks with March right around the corner.
And sure criticism is warranted but it’s not surprising to see a team off an extremely emotional win to not play as well going into Lexington against a super desperate team
I guess it just depends on your expectations. I loved beating Alabama but had no illusions that that meant we were suddenly a final four contender. I’ve not had those expectations for this team anyway. I’m not comfortable about this team entering the tourney but I never was. I’m rooting for a sweet sixteen, and feel better about next year
