The Official #10 Tennessee @ Kentucky Game Thread, 1:00 PM ET, CBS

TN may end up 6th if we lose to A&M. Plus still have Arkansas and @ Auburn.

That gives us 7 losses and KY 9 losses. KY is def an AA team we may end up with a 5 seed if we drop two more.
If we lose those and go out in the first round in the SEC tourney I could even see a 8 seed

Would the announcers mentioning that help us win? Who cares? Maybe they can mention our biggest wins were without JJJ who is one of those out today.
Well relax buddy… it’s called a question? And I could cared less myself but they are trying to bury us down the seeding lines for tourney and they always consistently do this.

If you've watched any college ball this year, it's pretty easy to speculate a team will struggle on the road. AP top 15 teams are now 52% winning percentage on the road this year. That's the lowest winning percentage in history.
Wow! That’s unreal! Cool stat. Thanks Lexx.

No Philips or JJJ puts our guards at a disadvantage defensively. Livingston, Reeves, and Wallace are taller than Santi and ZZ. Mashack is the only one that can match up against them.

Free throws
UK- 23-35, 65.7%
UT- 4-14, 28.6 %

Something is off here. Why does the SEC allow the refs to decide games? Granted we have to hit the ones we shoot, but them attempting 21 more free throws than UT is absurd.
I do think that officiating was a little unbalanced, but that doesn’t tell the whole tale. We missed a lot of front ends that would’ve resulted in more attempts.

weird and frustrating to watch. I turned it off at half time, but been reading comments.
I’m not nearly as aggravated as usual, but still pissed at how this team every year at the end goes into a free fall.
I just don't understand how 3 of 4 games you can get embarrassed by bad or bubble teams, and the lone win is a masterful one against #1. Let's not forget whipping up on #10 Texas, potential 1 seed kansas..
Don't want to hear the argument about how tough it is to win on the road anymore. Rick Barnes Tenn teams are the most streaky and at times awful offenses you'll see.
This team still has several games to right the ship for a deep tourney run. Mayne they'll time their streakiness for March lol

Not possible, given the metrics and wins. 3 wins over the top 10 teams (2 wins over currently projected 1 seeds). You have to look at college basketball collectively (the folks behind us don't have the metrics we have). We're not dropping to an 8

Our % actually worse when you factor missed front ends of one and ones

That start was the worst all year, and honestly not even close. Straight up abysmal.
Disappointing to say the least. Just like the first half at Florida. They dug a large hole and couldn’t come back. This 3 games lately that they shot poorly in the 1st half. You can’t get behind by double digits and expect to come back.
