Yeah, agreed. I’m actually pretty impressed with how Barnes conducted himself on that last sequence. Stayed professional but demanded accountability and let his perspective be heard. I couldn’t have done that. Hope that helps.

Neither could I. I probably would have blown a gasket and gotten ejected. That’s why if I were a college basketball coach, I wouldn’t want to coach at UT. Coaching elsewhere would make it all business with no personal love for the school. As the saying goes, love makes us do some stupid things.

Key and Vescovi have been horrible shooting the ball.

Gave you a like because you are correct. I posted a few comments that this team can’t shoot. The only way to fix it is to recruit pure shooters. Vescovi isn’t the same this yr. Teams are defending him more, plus he has an injured shoulder. JJJ isn’t playing tonight, but he had dropped off this yr. My hope is we score inside in the second half and hopefully someone will catch fire. Our bigs are missing from six feet out, too.

What stats are you looking at? We’re only in this due to Bama’s TO’s. They lead in FG%, FT%, FTA, rebounds, 3% is tied. If Bama could hold onto the ball and got up the same number of attempts as we have, they’d be up 10-12 points, depending on shot breakdown.

I think you have to be really disappointed if your for Tennessee. We got 16 more shots than they did and a lot of good looks and just missed them. Free throw shooting again terrible. We should be ahead by double digits if we could execute on offense. Other than Zach it has not been shooting has been terrible.

This is an interesting take. I get that Alabama went on a bit of a run at the end of the half. Still, we are down two starters coming off of back to back heart breakers and are tied with the top ranked team in the country. We have a very real chance at it. That’s pretty inspiring.

I don't disagree, but I believe the defender solidly deflected the ball. But yes, he needs to finish those....he went up with two hands.

I’d have done the same, my friend. Sometimes I get down on Barnes lack of standing up in those situations, but this was one of the instances where we actually got to see it play out and it’s a good reminder that there’s different ways to achieve the same purpose.
